This Privacy Policy describes how SOURCE CODE: LIFE ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and application located at this domain. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Policy.

The data we collect depends on how you use the App. The following table summarises everything:

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service. We never collect sensitive personal data beyond the above, and we never request government ID, financial information, or health data.
The numerology engine that powers SOURCE CODE: LIFE runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. This means:
- Your name and birthdate are processed on your device — not on our servers.
- Calculated frequency numbers are stored in your browser's
localStorageonly — not transmitted unless you opt into account creation. - The App is functional without an internet connection after its initial load (all logic is client-side).
- You can clear your data at any time by using the "RESET CHARACTER" option in the app settings, or by clearing your browser's local storage.
This design decision was made deliberately. We believe numerological and personal identity data is sensitive, and that you should have complete control over it.
Creating an account is optional. You can use the App in full without registering — your data stays in your browser only.
If you choose to create an account (via email/password or Google Sign-In), the following occurs:
- Your email address is stored with our authentication provider (Firebase by Google) for the purpose of account management only.
- Your character data (name, date of birth, and computed frequencies) may be stored in our database to enable cross-device access and data persistence.
- We use Firebase Authentication, which is subject to Google's privacy policy. No passwords are stored in plain text — all authentication is handled by Firebase's secure systems.
- You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, all associated data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
We use a minimal number of third-party services, listed below. We do not use advertising networks, data brokers, or marketing platforms.

We do not and will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We do not use advertising networks. There are no tracking pixels, no ad retargeting systems, and no affiliate tracking tools deployed on this app.
Security is taken seriously at every level of the stack:
- All data transmitted to Firebase is encrypted in transit using TLS.
- Firebase encrypts data at rest using AES-256.
- We do not store any passwords — all authentication is delegated to Firebase's secure systems.
- Access to the Firebase database is restricted by security rules that prevent any user from reading another user's data.
- No payment systems are integrated — there is nothing to compromise on that front.
We will notify you promptly if we become aware of any breach that may affect your personal data, in accordance with applicable data protection law.
Regardless of where you are located, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
- Right to access — You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — You can correct inaccurate personal data at any time through the app settings.
- Right to erasure — You can delete your character data in-app using the RESET CHARACTER option, or request full account deletion by contacting us.
- Right to restriction — You can request that we stop processing your data while a dispute is being resolved.
- Right to data portability — You can request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Right to object — You can object to any processing of your data that you believe is not in your interest.
- Right to withdraw consent — Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (e.g., the ICO in the UK, or your relevant EU DPA).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address in Section 10. We will respond within 30 days.
SOURCE CODE: LIFE is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately and we will delete that information from our systems.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes that materially affect how your data is processed will be communicated more prominently — for example, by displaying a notice within the app itself.
Your continued use of the App after a change to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with changes, you should stop using the App and delete your account if applicable.
